This policy explains what LoomTrade (run by Shyamaji Traders) collects when you use the website loomtrade.in and the LoomTrade app, why, who sees it, and the choices you have.
Account: your mobile number, name, email and what your business does.
Business: GSTIN, and the business details the GST portal returns for it (legal and trade name, address, firm type, registration status). When you declare your role in a business we record the time, your IP address, your browser and the terms version you accepted.
Your business page and fabrics: text, photos, social links, address and map link you choose to show.
Enquiries and quotes: the fabric you need, quantity, colour, delivery place and notes; quotes, rates and messages.
Contact numbers you add for calls and WhatsApp, verified by one-time password (OTP).
Activity: when a buyer calls or WhatsApps a seller through LoomTrade, lead notes and follow-ups, and payments and invoices.
Technical: pages visited (counted by address, not by person) and a session cookie that keeps you logged in.
To log you in, show your business page, send your enquiry to sellers whose fabrics match it, show quotes to buyers, run subscriptions and GST invoices, prevent misuse, and answer your questions. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.
When you post an enquiry, your name, business, town, number and requirement are shared with matching sellers, up to the number of sellers you choose. When you quote, the buyer sees your business, quote and contact numbers. Business pages you make public can be seen by anyone and by search engines. Team members you add see the leads assigned to them.
If you switch on Common contacts in the app, it shows you people you and another LoomTrade user both have saved in your phones. It is off unless you turn it on. Your phone turns each contact's number into a one-way code (a hash) before anything is sent, so we never receive your contacts' numbers or names. We store only these codes, scrambled again with a secret key, and match them only between two people who have both switched the feature on. Names always come from your own phone. Switch it off at any time in the app and all your stored codes are deleted.
On Android, the app can fill in your login OTP. Android asks your permission for that one message each time; the app cannot read your other messages.
We use trusted providers only to run the service: our hosting provider (servers), an SMS provider (OTP messages), a GST data provider (to fetch business details for a GSTIN) and Razorpay (payments). Card, UPI and bank details are entered with Razorpay and never reach us. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
We keep your account while it is in use. When an account is deleted, its business page, fabrics and photos are deleted. We keep invoices, payment records and GST declarations for as long as tax and other laws require.
You can view and correct your details in your profile. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account by writing to myloomtrade@gmail.com from, or mentioning, your registered mobile number. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may also withdraw consent and nominate someone to act for you.
The website and app use encrypted connections (HTTPS), logins use one-time passwords, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your phone and OTPs to yourself.
LoomTrade is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
